Company evolutions: ONION enters the Alten Group
January 2009 -
On January 28th 2009 ONION has entered the Alten Group, the European leading company in Engineering and Consulting in High Technologies and IT services. As of the end of 2008, the group has a turnover of about 850 Millions Euro and over 12,000 employees in 15 countries, with multidisciplinary skills (Networks, IT, Electronics, Embedded software, Mechanical engineering, etc.) and a well balanced coverage of every business sector (Telecoms and Multimedia, Financial Services, Automotive, Aeronautics & Space, Defense, Consumer Electronics, Public Transportation, etc.). ALTEN stock is listed on 'compartment B' of the Euronext Paris Stock Exchange (ISIN FR0000071946). It is part of the SBF 120, the IT CAC 50 and MIDCAP 100 indexes. ONION posts excellent results for FY 2008
January 2009 -
ONION confirmed in the second half 2008 the excellent trend shown in the first half, performing record sales and achieving an aggregate YOY performance of about +19,8%, with a strong and increased profitability as well as a significant number of new customers in all business areas.

January 2009 -
ONION is one of the first Italian companies to obtain the certification of its Quality System according to the updated ISO 9001:2008 norm. The certification applies to all the sites and all the sectors of business activity.
