ONION releases version 2.0 of its asset management access and reporting system via Intranet/Extranet for one of the most important media companies at European level. The system will be used by all Italian plants of one of the main Italian Group in the Automotive area. Local managers will be profiled within the system in hierarchical manner in order to provide different opportunities and typologies of reporting..
- Service Management.
ONION releases a new system (accessible via Intranet/Extranet) aimed at covering the overall request, approval and service tracking related to desktop management. The system will be used by sales forces (more than 2000 agents) and shared with ICT organization. The overall process is implemented on Remedy.
- Help Desk.
Functional and Applicative Help Desk was added to Technical Support already provided by an important banking service centre. The organization supports banks (both central offices and subsidiaries) on usage hints and anomaly management. Intranet/Extranet channel is used by some of the institutes in alternative to call centre.

OnionNet FENNEC has been installed in a primary manufacturing company.

ONION establishes a cooperation with a primary company leader in the automotive branch, developing the second release of its Intranet Document Management solution.

ONION extends its cooperation with a primary company leader in the railway branch taking part in testing activities of a safety-critical project. The activities concern: methodologies definition and testing techniques, system design and test execution.

On Sep 18th Nimda virus extends world-wide. ONION does not suffer inconveniences thanks to NOC preventive activities.

ONION has been encharged of implementing a bank call centre to support commercial and technical aspects of virtual banking products. The service will include IVR, VoiceMail, Unified Messaging functionalities and CTI integrated with problem management system based on SuiteART Remedy application.

In collaboration with Politecnico of Milan, ONION holds a training course addressing analysis and development of Remedy-based applications for one of the main service centre operating in the Northern Italy health care market.

The way they can access this application is entirely Web based through both Intranet and Internet. As customers belong to different companies and divisions, a mechanism based on roles and profiles determines data access and visibility.
